4. Data protection by contractual partners and third parties
Google reCAPTCHA
The reCAPTCHA service from Google Inc. (Google) is used to protect your input via Internet entry forms on these pages. This plugin checks whether the user / contractual partner is a person in order to protect certain website functions from misuse by "spam bots". The query of this plugin includes the transmission of the IP address and possibly other data that are required for the reCAPTCHA service from Google. For this purpose, the entries are forwarded to Google and used by Google. However, your IP address is shortened by the member states of the EU and other countries in the European economic area and is therefore anonymized. The complete IP address is only forwarded to Google in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google will use the data on behalf of the website operator to evaluate the use of this service. The IP address provided by reCaptcha is not merged with other Google data. This data collection is the subject of Google's data protection guidelines. For more information, please visit: www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. By using the reCAPTCHA service, you consent to the processing of your data by Google as described above.
Virtual private server
Unless otherwise agreed, our pages are provided on so-called "virtual private servers". Depending on the needs, this can be different providers with different data protection guidelines. It is always ensured that the server location is Germany, or another EU country. The respective contract contains detailed information about the provider, which at the same time makes the respective data protection provisions of the provider accessible and, if there is no consent, another provider can be found.
